Hohlbein powers to Saturday night top-ten at Montpelier

Finally Fall, officially, the weather was perfect Saturday night at Montpelier Motor Speedway in Montpelier, Indiana, and Cloverdale, Ohio's Abby Hohlbein was in on the action, joining the USAC Midwest Thunder Speed2 Midgets for a full program with over 30 entries making the call. In fact, Montpelier's plate boasted a pair of Midget main events, with a mid-August make-up feature also on the agenda. When the dust finally settled, Hohlbein found herself with a top-ten outcome, finishing tenth in the evening's regularly scheduled program after setting the tone with a third-place finish in her respective heat race. The top-ten was her sixth of the season, one of which resulting within the top-five - a victory, at that.
