Abby Hohlbein and 2B Racing Team Up For The USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Series
The Ohio Driver Will Drive for Scott and Dana Benic in Selected USAC Events
MARION, Ind. (April 2, 2025) -- Abby Hohlbein, piloting the 2A a second entry for Scott and Dana Benic of 2B Racing, will compete in select USAC AMSOIL Sprint Series events in 2025. Joining Kale Drake as teammates throughout the season, the 18-year-old Cloverdale, Ohio-native looks ahead to the challenge.
Hohlbein comes into the 2025 USAC AMSOIL Sprint Series season looking to continue her momentum and growth behind the wheel of a sprint car. The 2024 Great Lakes Super Sprint Car Series Rookie of the Year, Hohlbein is anticipating the transition from winged to non-winged sprint car racing with 2B Racing.
"I am excited for the opportunity to race with a well established team and car owner. I can't wait to get this new chapter of my racing career started. This season is going to be a new challenge for me, and I'm ready to get in the car and start this race season!" said Hohlbein, the 2020 USAC Midwest Thunder Rookie of the Year.
Benic, the 2006 USAC AMSOIL Sprint Series Crew Chief of the Year and USAC Racing's only Triple Crown Crew Chief, is looking forward to teaming up with Hohlbein. "As an entrant that has been doing this racing thing for many years, we have been moving our focus on scouting talent into the D2 midget and Micro sprint world the last few years. Having Abby in the 2A join our team and run alongside Kale Drake in the 2B should make us strong contenders for years to come. Dana and I are excited to be working with young talented drivers to continue to make our 2B brand stronger and stronger!" said Benic, who co-owns 2B racing with wife Dana.
2B Racing and Abby Hohlbein will be announcing partnerships, and a race schedule shortly. Partnership packages are available by contacting Chloe Holman at (573) 620-3057 or by email at chloejholman@gmail.com
