Abby Hohlbein Sets New Midget Track Record At Waynesfield Raceway Park With USAC Midwest Thunder Midgets

WAYNESFIELD, Ohio (July 3, 2023) Establishing a new track record at Waynesfield Raceway Park With USAC Midwest Thunder Midgets Monday night, Abby Hohlbein capped the night with her sixth top-ten finish of the season.
Laying down a lap time of 13.255-seconds during her Qualifying group, that put the No. 11h fourth in the second Heat Race.
Gridding eighth in the A-Feature, Abby slipped to tenth in the early goings but found her way back to eighth on Lap 14. Not out of the woods from there, the spot swapped around on the closing lap, with Abby able to retake it.
Next for Abby is Saturday, July 8, at Montpelier Motor Speedway.
